COVID-19 Health & Safety Plan

In this difficult and uncertain time, the health and safety of our colleagues, exhibitors and visitors is of paramount importance to RX Australia. With that in mind, we have developed a formal set of enhanced health and safety protocols in collaboration with industry task forces for our upcoming events. Click here to read the full document.

COVID Safe Event Terms & Conditions

Registration

All attendees, exhibitors and visitors must register via a no-contact registration system to support the tracing requirements of all participants. Attendees must wear their unique name badge at all times and ID checks may take place where necessary. 

Show Entry/Exit Procedures

Access from the ICC Sydney car park is currently unchanged. The closest lift from the car park to Energy Next is Lift 12. Signage will be located in the car park to direct you to the appropriate lift. If coming by public transportation the Northern Entry doors, closest to the Convention Centre, will be open throughout the duration of the event.

Physical Distancing

Based on the current 1 person per 4sqm capacity rule and the estimated attendance at Energy Next 2023, the daily attendance at any one time falls under this capacity level, however we will be monitoring congestion and have a number of safety initiatives in place aligned to the NSW Health requirements and their consultation.

Face Masks

If face masks are required for Energy Next 2023, as part of the NSW Health mandate, all patrons will be required to wear a face mask as a condition of entry. All attendees will be notified of this requirement prior to the event. You can also check back here for updates, as we will revise this information regularly. Increased Hygiene Measures

  • Hand sanitiser stations
  • Hand washing instructions in restrooms
  • Regular sanitisation of high touch points including escalators, lifts buttons, door handles, handrails etc.
  • Deep cleaning pre, during and post event

Children

Energy Next is a business event so children under 14 are not permitted inside the halls. Visitors with babies (aged 0-2) in a pram or carrying device require a security approved pram sticker from Customer Service.

Medical Services

A dedicated first aid room and isolation area will be made available for any attendee feeling unwell or displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

Food and Beverage

  • Food control measures aligned to the NSW Heath requirements
  • Cashless event - only card payments will be permitted at catering outlets
  • All seating areas within cafes will comply with one person per 2sqm density limits.
  • Increased cleaning schedule of all catering furniture and surfaces.

Places of Confirmed Exposure

Please ensure you check the NSW Health website and if you have been to any of the confirmed locations do NOT attend Energy Next.

If you feel sick or unwell or have symptoms of Covid 19 please  do NOT attend Energy Next - isolate and get tested and follow directions from the Department of Health.
