Energy Next 2022 Delivers Insightful Showcase of Australia’s Clean Energy Future

27 July 2022

Wrapping up after two days at the ICC Sydney, Energy Next successfully delivered a showcase of Australia’s clean energy future featuring a lineup of industry speakers, workshops, and an extensive display of exhibitors ranging from solar power to battery storage.

Energy Next hosted more than 1500 visitors eager to learn about Australia’s Net Zero journey and the different applications to get us there, a face-to-face opportunity that was previously halted by the pandemic.

Robby Clark, Reed Exhibition Energy, Waste and Content Portfolio Director comments, “Energy Next has been three years in the making and we are so proud to have delivered a successful new industry event for the growing market. We would like to thank the Clean Energy Council and NSW government for their strong support as well as our inaugural exhibitors and sponsors that have joined us on this journey”.

An agenda covering a range of topics boasted a lineup including Stefan Jarnason (CEO, Solar Analytics), Dr. Kathryn Lucas-Healey (Research Fellow, Australian National University), Dr. Chang Wang (Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Monash University), and Jarrod Leak (CEO, A2EP), offering visitors a unique insight to the solutions being conceptualised and implemented in the modern industry.

Exhibitors on the other hand were given a platform to meet potential customers and introduce new and emerging products from their growing range, including the likes of IDEEMATIC, SMA Australia Pty, Fimer Australia, Solar Analytics, and Huawei Technologies Co.

Steve Ruskin, National Sales and Channel Director for Huawei Solar Australia stated, “Not only did we get the chance to showcase our award-winning Luna Battery and residential inverter solution but it’s been a great opportunity to have those face-to-face interactions with new and existing partners”.

On a similar wavelength, a representative from FIMER also commented, “We’ve met some great stakeholders from installers to general members of the public. There’s also been some high quality, high-caliber presentations that are great for anyone interested in clean and renewable energy, and future tech”.

Finishing on a high note as the event concluded, Verena Griffiths, OCEANIA Marketing Manager for SMA Australia stated, “Energy Next offered a platform for some of the market-leading technologies to connect with the clean energy market. Let’s all shape the energy environment together with sustainable and future-proof methods… the future is in everyone’s hands and we cannot wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is now”.

Though drawing a close to Energy Next, the team is working feverishly in preparation for All-Energy Australia 2022, set to take place from October 26th - 27th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. For more information, please visit https://www.all-energy.com.au/.
